This is a recipe that my Grandma came across a couple years ago. It is a simple, no-fuss recipe that has quickly become a family favorite! This is the perfect salad for a summer picnic or cookout. 

• 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
• 2 broccoli heads, about 8 cups
• 1/2 red onion, very thinly sliced
• 2/3 C. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
• 1/3 C. mayonnaise
• 1/3 C. sour cream
• 1/4 tsp celery seed
• salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
